Prenatal Yoga Series

This 8 week Prenatal Yoga series starts Tuesday, July 9th and meets weekly through August 27th in our non-heated Dandelion Studio. This class is designed for pregnant women throughout all 9 months of pregnancy. Poses are modified as needed to support and strengthen the woman's ever-changing body. With the inclusion of breath and relaxation poses, sharing, and connecting with each other and our babies, we nurture both the physical and emotional health of you and your growing baby. A one-time introductory offer reserves your spot in this 8 week course for only $115; regular series price is $135.

Body Positive Yoga

This is a 6 week series that meets biweekly on Tuesday evenings and is uniquely designed for larger bodies, and is open to anyone that wants to learn to love their bodies. Using yoga to connect our mind to our bodies and explore the sensations of our body with joyful movement, creating community and a safe space for everyone. Variations will be used to explore the benefits of each pose developing stability and ease, as well as enabling your personal practice to empower you to do what works for your body no matter what yoga class you attend. Several styles of yoga will be explored over 6 classes including, slow flow vinyasa, restorative, yoga nidra, meditation, and chair yoga.

This class is appropriate for brand new beginners, those who are intimidated by yoga studios, and those who are seeking a supportive community to practice with. This is a weight neutral, gender neutral, and inclusive space. Wheel Chair accessible and no stairs are required to reach the studio space and chairs used during class have a 650lb weight capacity. I am a working mom of two who came to yoga through a desperate need to reconnect with myself. Yoga has opened my heart and allowed me to find peace and acceptance of my body. I hope to create a space for EVERY BODY to explore the joy and enlightenment that yoga can provide. With a Yoga for All training certification and a passion for continued learning, my goal is to help everyone find individuality and accessibility in their own practice.

Adaptive Kids Yoga

Adaptive Kids Yoga

Adaptive Kids Yoga is an 8 week series that meets Mondays at 5pm, September 23 - November 11th. This 50 minute class is an inclusive class for families with people who have a wide range of special needs. Classes strengthen connections to family members and others, as families work, learn and play together. Yoga improves focus, self-regulation, balance (physical and emotional), strength, and body awareness and control. Our class will embrace the uniqueness and support the strengths of special needs young people. Yoga is not dependent on language skills or cognitive abilities.
